Wild Rice
Wild Rice
Master's Maples Wild Rice is all-natural and hand-harvested by canoe from Minnesota lakes and rivers - in the same way it has been done for centuries. It is then traditionally wood-fire parched and finished on the Leech Lake Indian Reservation in Cass Lake, Minnesota.
Wild rice may be served in any of the ways that are suggested for white rice, but the flavor is so distinctive that it needs little ornamentation. Simply toss cooked rice with butter and seasonings and serve as a side dish. You can also serve warm cooked rice with butter, salt, and Master's Maples 100% Pure Maple Syrup for a delicious, nutritious hot breakfast. Wild rice is also a delicious ingredient in soups, appetizers, casseroles, vegetable dishes, fruit salads, and desserts.
